A common thing I hear is, ” why would you want to live in Fort St. John?” When I moved up here I felt similar coming from living in Edmonton, where everything is at your finger tips, literally. This small town has grown on me though and when I get to go out a do sessions like this it makes me love it that much more!

Jason and Janine just got married a little over a year ago, no they didn’t waste time but I mean, why wouldn’t you want to have a tiny human to enjoy the rest of your life with? These two were a little on the fence about getting maternity pictures done. Janine reached out and asked some questions about them and I let her know my take on them. I always regretted not getting them done and wanted her not to. She also expressed that they loved the canola fields and didn’t want a ton of photos…. Well once she read my blog LINK HERE about what makes a maternity session I told her I would be taking more than a couple pictures. Can I just say I that I find myself exceedingly grateful to live in a place where I can drive to a place like, Bear Flatts, and capture a maternity session like this. Nicole and Cody are avid adventure seekers but may have to slow down with their little miss on the way! This session was one that I got a little carried away with BECAUSE there were too many good photos… Like over 100… I was so happy Nicole took my advice and read my BLOG on how to make the most of your maternity photos. Nicole had a specific look she wanted for her photos and also wanted them to look natural and capture her and Cody’s love for the out doors. The way these photos turned out they could not have been better. The light, the evening, the couple, it was just too good to be true.
