It was a sunny fall Fort St. John morning which was slightly surprising because this summer has been nothing but rain. I walked into Meagan’s family home and was greeted by her mom and aunt. Meagan was busy doing her hair and makeup in the bathroom. Meagan is a girl who takes charge and likes things done right so who better to do her hair and makeup than herself; you rock girl. Her bridesmaid’s came in all smiles and ready to put their dresses on. Meagan chose to order online from Azazie and had nothing but an amazing experience with them! Putting on Meagan’s dress and getting the corset done up well involved me, Meagan’s mom and a spoon; it was a morning to remember for sure!
Meagan and Ryan got married at the Fort St. John Alliance Church surrounded by friends and family. It was amazing to see how much support and love they have going into marriage! There was love and laughs during the ceremony; truly a wonderful way to start this amazing journey together. After the ceremony we all went out to the old boat launch in Charlie Lake to do bridal party photos. The fall colours were nothing less than amazing! Not going to lie that there may have been a McDonalds run involved before the photos 😉 When a Bridal Party has got to eat they got to eat! After photos we went to Charlie Lake Hall and celebrated the new Stickel family!
Ryan & Meagan, thank you so much for choosing me to capture you day! I still remember at our first meeting when you brought your bridal book and I was so stoked because of how organized you were! Your day was truly beautiful and I am so glad I was there to witness and capture it all <3
