The sun was shining and all the fears of having a rainy wedding day left Terri as she woke up to blue sky’s. The morning was filed with laughter and anticipation of the big reveal. Terri’s wedding dress was hanging in the closet and she was so excited to see Brady’s reaction; she couldn’t wait for the first look. They wanted to do a first look so that they could share the first moment that Brady saw her for just each other. They wanted to that moment to get excited with each other and be able talk and get the nerves out together. This is probably one of my favorite moments of the day. Brady had his back turned and Terri stepped out from behind the building and walked up slowly behind him. She softly tapped him on the shoulder and Brady turned to see the women of his dreams, dressed in white.

The day couldn’t haven been more beautiful. B & T took their couples on a journey to the place where they held their ceremony. After the guests parked they walked down a path and over a bridge. It opened up to picturesque surrounded by trees. Terri arrived for her walk down the isle in a 1950’s ford truck. You could see her smile from a mile away. Their ceremony was tailored just to them; their love for each other was truly breathtaking. I had to do a quick swipe of my eyes in order to see through my lens during the vows. Once they were pronounced Husband and wife B & T felt like they could fully relax in being with each other and in love for the rest of the day! There was never a dull moment taking picture with the wedding party; the best man always had something to say, it kept us all on our feet for photos! B & T left a lot of time in the timeline to take photos, so It was fun to spend lots of time with them and relax with the portraits. I had my friend come as an assistant and she said she loved hearing them whisper sweet nothings to each other during the process, how cute it that! B & T chose the Charlie lake hall as the place of their reception and being the DIY couple that they are they fully decked out the hall with all things rustic and woodsy! It was truly amazing all the effort that went into their wedding day, they even MADE their own wine! As the speeches were happening and the Kleenex was being used for all its worth there was a change in the atmosphere of the hall.  You could feel the love and support that everyone had for this couple and how inspiring their love was for those around them! After the speeches B&T pulled me aside and said they had a surprise during the shoe game. They were going to reveal to everyone that they were EXPECTING! I literally had to put my hand over my mouth and scream cause I was so excited for them and didn’t want to wreck it for everyone else! After the announcement there were endless hugs for B&T!
