Will & Brittany’s Fort St. John Wedding

What comes to mind when you think of the word family? Love, togetherness, or maybe something else? Wait this is suppose to be a wedding blog… Why am I talking about family? For Will & Brittany there is nothing that means more to them. Their wedding day was centered around their love for their family and incorporating everything from everyone that they love into their wedding day.I have never witnessed such a sense of love and connection of those around a couple before. The day was truly a day that not only captured the love Will & Brittany had for each other but for those around them as well.

I walked through Brittany’s parents yard to find Will for photos and everywhere I looked there was family either laughing with each other or playing an instrument. It truly set the tone of the day for me; togetherness always. As Brittany revealed her dress to her dad it  took his breath away and there was no dry eye in the room. Brittany’s bouquet was the most unique bouquet I have ever seen. It had her family’s brooches all throughout to represent those family members. There was no one left out in this wedding day.

Before the ceremony started Brittany and the bridesmaids had a quick pump up dance party in the bus; not going to lie I definitely joined in… I cannot resist a good dance party… ever. After making sure Brittany’s dad had his corsage pinned on the ceremony started.  When Will saw Brittany walking down the aisle his face lit up. Tears, laughter, anticipation and then they were pronounced husband and wife. YAY! After the ceremony I climbed up on the bus got a full shot of everyone that attended the wedding! Such a great idea and something I have never done!

Their evening was filled with music, dancing (Brittany’s aunt even busted out a jig) and lost of moments that will forever be happy memories. Will & Brittany, thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day. It was a blessing to see how you are both so surrounded by love and that family is your priority. Thank you also for the shout out in your speech! Rarely do the couple do that but it made me feel so loved! I am totally rooting for you two and am so happy that you both chose to say I do! Love you guys!
