Rustic Yellowstone Wedding in the hills

Josiah and Lidia are one of those couples that you look at and think they are the most kick a** couple. They are always trying to find a mountain to climb and a river to fish together and their engagement photos speak to that. They don’t mind sleeping in a wall tent and you could almost always expect that they are ready to go into the wilderness for the weekend. With their passion for the outdoors and their love for nature, Josiah and Lidia took their wedding day to a place that encapsulated what represent them and their relationship the best.

They said their I do’s in the wilderness just a hop skip and jump from Yellowstone National Park boundaries. It was truly a beautiful day with a little bit of rain, for good luck, of course. They were married at Wayfarer’s Chapel surround by friends and family. They hosted their reception and evening at Buffalo Bills Lodge, at the Pahaska Teepee Resort. Their wedding was in a fully rustic setting since the lodge was the original wood lodge built in 1880’s. It was truly an evening to remember. Josiah and Lidia have so many amazing people that are surrounding them that you know that their love is bound to last forever. I truly couldn’t tell the difference between friends and family because everyone was so tight knit and loved them with their whole hearts. From heartfelt speeches to line dancing on the road outside Josiah and Lidia’s wedding day was, in their words, “ better than they could have ever imagined.”

Josiah and Lidia, I am SO thankful for having the amazing opportunity of taking your wedding photos and being able to meet all of your incredible family and friends. You two truly are more than just clients but life long friends and I can see us adventuring together in the near future. I love you both and will NEVER forget your amazing day!
