Simple and Sweet Prince George Wedding

Janene hid in the one of the Sunday school classrooms waiting for the que to come out. Her father walked up to the spot where he was instructed to stand and held his breath. This was the moment, the moment he was going to see is daughter in a whole new light, in a white dress as a bride. I told Lyle to close his eye and Janene stepped out. Her Bridesmaid’s and mom all looked at her with tears in their eyes and then turned to Janene’s father. “Okay you can open,” I said. His eye slowly opened and they welled up, not only with tears but with adoration. Janene stepped forward and was grasped by her fathers loving arms. The arms that held her as newborn, the arms that cuddled her when she was afraid and now the arms that hold her before he becomes a bride. He pulled back for one last look at his beautiful daughter and gave her a kiss on the forehead, “you looking stunning honey.” Janene gently wiped her eyes being careful not to smug her make up, she took a deep breath and started to walk towards the door to become a wife.

It was a rainy Prince George day, it was good that they choose a little church on Willow street to host their ceremony. The church had floor to ceiling windows, so there was so much natural light it made the whole ceremony light and airy. Jenkin is one of my past groom’s twin brother, so I was already quite familiar with the family. It was so special being able to be a part of another wedding with the most loving family.  The moment Janene stepped out and walked down the isle Jenkin brought his hand to his mouth to cover his jaw dropping. It was such a special moment, to see a groom completely blow away by the beauty of his bride. Jenkins dad was the officiant and peeked over at his son and gave a tear-filled chuckle. He could not be happier for his son, marrying the women of his dreams. They said their vows by a beautiful arch which Jenkin’s mom made. Once they were pronounced bride and groom, they walked down the isle with the biggest smiles on their faces. They did it, it was forever at last.

Jenkin and Janene, you both are such amazing people with an amazing heart to serve others. Thank you so much for letting me share a part of your wedding day. I will never forget or windy snowy engagement session. I think we all thought it was nuts that we were out at Azouzetta lake, but we had to take advantage of the time given. You both were such troopers that day, enduring a literal blizzard! The moments I got to spend with just you two were so special. I could truly see that you love each other more than words can describe. I am looking forward to seeing where life bring you to and how you love each other through it all!
