Hey there Momma! If you’re a Dad, I apologize, but I am pleasantly surprised! Have you been thinking about getting family photos done but the whole process intimidates you? Feeling like it’s time to update your photos because your baby is definitely not a baby anymore? Getting my kiddos in front of the camera AND getting them to smile at the same time??? Well, a girl can dream! BUT over the years I have found some proven things that will help take the stress off of YOU so that you will not only be prepared, but your kiddos will too. Let’s be honest, I am a mom and I know how hard it is to manage all the things, and just having one good photo would mean the world to you . I see you! I AM you. I have made a simple style guide to help you look on point as a family for our session and provided some helpful tips to help prepare your kiddos too. Stop thinking about getting photos done and let me show you how easy and fun it can be!
Your pregnant! YAY! First off, you are amazing. Growing a human is not easy at all. Whether your pregnancy has been a breeze, has taken everything out of you, or has been a total miracle it’s a time that you don’t want to forget. I remember being with my first, and what a special time it was before everything my husband I knew changed completely! Not going to lie, it was and is difficult, but I am a firm believer that you can find beauty and reason in all seasons of life. I never got maternity photos and now that we are done having kiddos I really regret it. I wish I could have something to look back on to remember the time before I “officially” became a mom. I understand that you have A LOT on your mind in this season so I have made an extensive style guide with images that will help you from choosing the right dress to how to prepare you for the session. Can I just say that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL momma, and these are the moments we truly don't want to forget. Want some inspiration? Head over to my blog! You might be my next big feature!
Head over to my contact page and fill out my inquiry form so that I can connect with you! Once you do that I send you over my pricing which is also listed above and a short questionnaire to make sure that we are a good fit!
Once we see that we are a good fit and we find a date and time, you reach my favorite kind of status! Clients status! This is where we talk back and forth about your sessions and you get my coveted style guide! I love this part of our time together because we basically both get to get excited over clothing choices and dream about the fun to come!
Whoop whoop! Best day ever has come! Let’s be honest, this is my favorite part of the whole process. I will meet you at the place and time that we discussed and then the fun begins! The session usually lasts about 45 mins depending on how the other humans are cooperating ;) There will be a lot of laughter and great memories will be created during this time. I CANNOT wait.
I guarantee your photos will be delivered no longer than 2 weeks after we had the shoot. In this time I will be sitting and literally laughing and aweing out loud while I go through the photos. It is so much fun for me to relive our time together! You will receive your photos via an online gallery and you will have access to ALL, yes, ALL photos. No extra cost for your images.
As a mom, daughter and wife I am continually faced with reality, that babies grow, parents get older and life moves fast. As a child and teenager I would always hate it when mom or dad asked me to take a photo and would do everything in my power to not have to be in it. I never totally understood the need for them.
The importance of photographs became real for me when I lost my mom in 2016 just weeks before my first baby was born. After she passed, I found myself looking through the photo albums and remembering her, and all the good memories. We only got professional photos done once, but I remember the whole experience and still have those photos to look back and remember her.
This is where my passion of photography really grew. To be able to capture a and freeze a moment in time is such a joy for me, knowing that the result is precious memories that last. If you're thinking of doing it, your kids, grand kids and great grand children will thank you one day!
